Surfs Up

It was a fun, early morning shooting this outfit oceanside with Molly Cranna. It definitely made me want to pick up on a surfing hobby. What a great way to start the day, right? I love this dress by Talulah. It has a detailed, keyhole, back with small cut outs near the shoulders. It is my, "I don't feel like putting any time into what I'm wearing today, but want to look cute," dress. Get similar styles below!

Since making the move to Los Angeles, I've really started to get a good feel for the casual vibes, and relaxed style... Especially close to Venice beach. Removing myself from DC's political and conservative lifestyle has really opened my eyes to the idea of casual=glamorous.  xx, K

Hawaiian (with a) Punch (of color) is what comes to mind when I see this skirt. That, or an adorable piñata... a flattering piñata skirt that is. Paired with a brightly colored crop top and a textured beach basket are the perfect combo for any beach party. That, or if you're just feeling the urge to be "festive."

It's hard not to be utterly swoon over the Preen by Thornton Bregazzi  collection. Sophistication, color, and craftsmanship make for some amazing styling.  I practically B lined it to this skirt the moment I laid eyes on it. My fabulous photographer Molly has been an LA local for quite some time now, and has really been showing me the ropes around the city. We have been "inadvertently hiking" as she would say, looking for fun places to shoot as we tour around different parts of the city. This was the perfect, casual, cool outfit to be walking around in. I fell in love with this Vanessa Bruno top when I laid eyes on it. It goes well with just about anything and everything. I decided to go for a more relaxed look with these embellished Thakoon shorts; perfect on a hot Spring day.
