The longer I live in LA, the less I am able to adapt to cold weather. The longer I live in LA, the more difficult it becomes to tolerate a 20 minute car ride to a different part of town... Back on East coast, a 20 minute drive was just a hop skip and a jump away. 

The idea of living on the beach with relaxed people and casual vibes would be like living in la-la-vacation-land. No more 20 minute car ride and a couple steps away from sandy toes?... I'll take it! This summer, I love wearing these light cotton, embroidered shorts. They are the perfect cover up that can be worn with a simple tee, or a chambray blouse. Not only are you ready for a day by the ocean, but throw your sandals on to grab a bite at your nearest shack where they have a "must wear sandals and clothes," policy... You all know what I'm talking about. Get the look below. I hope everyone is enjoying sandy toes this summer!

Trending: Pineapples

1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 Pineapples; not just for eating anymore. It is unbeknownst to me that we would, one day, reach a time where pineapples were a TREND. And no, I don't mean for eating. For whatever the reason though, I love it. Now, not only will I be eating a pineapple, but I will be eating it WHILE wearing it. Before Labor Day... We Wear White

Photos by: Molly Cranna This summer, you can find me in white pretty much every day... until Labor day. The off the shoulder top is all the craze right now, and I love it. It's super flattering; covering all of the right parts of your arm, leaving out only your best assets. This helps give the perception of narrow shoulders and thin arms... can't say I hate that! This all white outfit pulled together with a splash of color, and your good to go. xx, K

Over the Hedge

There is definitely never a shortage of beautiful flowers, fences, and hedges throughout Los Angeles; this one in particular being a favorite of mine. I'm a huge fan of prints, bright colors, and bold combinations. This quilted, lightweight,  Isabel Marant jacket is the perfect staple piece that goes with more than you would anticipate. I specifically chose these Mcginn skirt/shorts because of their flattering fit. They can be dressed up or down.

Surfs Up

It was a fun, early morning shooting this outfit oceanside with Molly Cranna. It definitely made me want to pick up on a surfing hobby. What a great way to start the day, right? I love this dress by Talulah. It has a detailed, keyhole, back with small cut outs near the shoulders. It is my, "I don't feel like putting any time into what I'm wearing today, but want to look cute," dress. Get similar styles below!
