I don't  know what it is, but lately I've had the strangest craving to find the perfect hat. Something floppy, but not too floppy, a fedora, but not a "Jason Mraz" fedora... something chic and can either be use as a statement piece OR a staple item depending on the day. Unveiled: Washingtonian Magazine

Thank you Washingtoniain for putting on yet another outstanding "Unveiled" event this year.  I had such a great time yesterday getting to catch up with old vendors, and meet new ones as well. MBK and I had so much fun sipping on ginger/pear martinis, and shooting an amazing bridal fashion show!

Dark and Dainty

This week I took a trip to my old stomping grounds. (Yes, that only means about 20 minutes from where I live now) to visit Lacy Couture Apparel. This little spot carries all of the hottest designer brands. Whether it be clothes, shoes, jewelry, or bags... they have it. This hott-little-number-of-a-jacket is on sale there now (made by Cecilia De Buccourt), as well as the necklace (by Liquid Metal). I decided to go with a more casual look: boyfriend jeans, solid black top, and heels. You could definitely dress this jacket up for a night-on-the-town too!
