This year, similarly to last, Matt and I have a bazillion different events to attend. We're at that age where literally everyone we know is either getting married or having babies. That said, our weekends are pretty jam packed and I'm constantly looking out for new wardrobe refreshers for everything. A dress for an event is functional and easy but if you want to switch it up a bit, why not pair a fun statement skirt with a simple blouse? I recently stumbled across this amazing skirt by C/meo collective at my favorite boutique in Santa Monica. Not knowing exactly where I was going to wear it didn't stop me from making the purchase. For a more conservative look, try pairing it with a simple body suit. The styling possibilities are endless!

2017 Room Revive
With a New Year comes new innovations, new resolutions, and new cravings. I for one, have been scheming new living room updates for quite some time now. It all started with our living room rug (which I absolutely love)- BUT after many wine nights and dance parties, I can't seem to get rid of the stains. With that said, I've been pinning away at some inspiration to resolve the issue. I personally love the layered rug look. Our neutral, chevron, stained rug would look great layered with a slightly smaller, Moroccan shag rug. I've always been attracted to mixing textures and styles. As you can tell from the images below, my design style has been leaning more towards a coastal, mid century modern look.
